ALWAYS RUNNING, The Hit World Premiere Play, Is Extended At CASA 0101 Theater

IT'S A HIT! CASA 0101 Theater and Tía Chucha's Centro Cultural & Bookstore will extend their World Premiere production of the new play, ALWAYS RUNNING, based on the groundbreaking award-winning memoir written by Los Angeles Poet Laureate Luis J. Rodríguez, adapted for the stage by Luis J. Rodríguez and Hector Rodriguez, directed by Hector Rodriguez, starring Rufino Romero as Luis J. Rodríguez, leading a cast of 16 rotating actors playing 32 roles.

Globe/USD Shiley M.F.A. Program Present TWELFTH NIGHT

The Old Globe today announced its latest cast and creative team as the illustrious actors in The Old Globe and University of San Diego Shiley Graduate Theatre Program expertly perform William Shakespeare's magical comedy Twelfth Night, directed by Jesse Perez, the program's Director of Professional Training and a noted actor (Off Broadway's Party People, the Globe's Romeo and Juliet, La Jolla Playhouse's Seize the King). BWW Review: AMERICAN UNDERGROUND at Barrington Stage Company A Profound New Drama That Asks Us To Examine Where We've Been, Where We Are, and Where We Are Going.

This production is, in a word - 'tight'. The many facets and elements of the script, costuming, sound, lighting, sets, direction, and cast are all notable in their own right. This is a case where they come together and the whole is, indeed, greater than the sum of the parts. The result is 90-minutes of powerful, intense, and frighteningly plausible theatre that is engaging, emotional, intriguing, important, and regardless of your politics or point-of-view, well worth seeing.

Studio Theatre Extends Pulitzer Prize-Winning DOUBT: A Parable

Studio Theatre is extending its season-opening production of Doubt: A Parable, adding five performances through October 13, 2019.
