Paper Mill Playhouse, recipient of the 2016 Regional Theatre Tony Award, has announced today the cast and creative team for the East Coast premiere of the new play The Outsider by Paul Slade Smith, directed by David Esbjornson (Driving Miss Daisy).

Audiences and critics filled the house for the Opening Night of The Tin Woman at Theatre at the Center (TATC) on Sunday, July 16. This was the Chicagoland premiere of Sean Grennan's newest play starring Erin Noel Grennan in the lead role. The Jeff Recommended play The Tin Woman continues its run at TATC through August 13. Paper Mill Playhouse, recipient of the 2016 Regional Theatre Tony Award, presents Mel Brooks' award-winning musical The Producers, directed by Don Stephenson and choreographed by Bill Burns. The Producers features music and lyrics by Mel Brooks, a book by Mel Brooks andThomas Meehan, and the original Broadway direction and choreography by Susan Stroman.

Paper Mill Playhouse will be hosting an invite-only, industry reading of Paul Slade Smith's The Outsider this March in New York City.  In line with Paper Mill Playhouse's mission of fostering a creative environment for advancing the art form, the theater is bringing together top industry professionals to aid in the development of the play.

After a record number of voters in more than 70 regions worldwide, BroadwayWorld is very excited to announce the 2015 Milwaukee Awards winners. Highlights include Nova Y. Payton for her role in DREAMGIRLS at Milwaukee Rep, Alexander B. Tacoma who wins 'Best Costume Design' for DREAMGIRLS, and Phil Stepanski winning 'Best Actor in a Play' for THE NERD at Sunset Playhouse. Door County's Peninsula Players Theatre (PPT) celebrates their 80th season with an exceptional world premiere A Real Lulu. Written by former PPT actor who is currently featured on Broadway in Finding Neverland, Paul Slade Smith crafted a timely production overflowing with clever plot twists reflecting the contemporary political climate with class and humor. The two act evening highlights the acting talents of a seven person cast, and especailly Greg Vinkler, playing Ned Newley, and Erin Noel Grennan, in the role of Louise Peaks.

The mix of plays includes a world premiere comedy, a classic thriller, a frighteningly funny farce, the Midwest premiere of a Civil War drama and a musical featuring a music icon.

While a delightful comedy, Miracle on South Division Street builds itself on a realistic family drama. Set in Buffalo, NY, a family has grown up around a statue of the Virgin Mary commemorating their own miracle. Through out the play the Nowaks reveal the legend of their miracle and it has unforeseen effects on the family, particularly mother Clara (Peggy Roeder) and daughter Ruth (Ellen Noel Grennan).

'The Game's Afoot,' a hilarious new whodunit from the master of comedy Ken Ludwig, begins performances tonight, August 14, 2013 at Peninsula Players Theatre, America's oldest professional resident summer theater and Door County, Wisconsin's theatrical icon. 'The Game's Afoot,' has a three- week run with performances Tuesday through Sunday through Sept. 1, 2013.
