Audiences and critics filled the house for the Opening Night of The Tin Woman at Theatre at the Center (TATC) on Sunday, July 16. This was the Chicagoland premiere of Sean Grennan's newest play starring Erin Noel Grennan in the lead role. The Jeff Recommended play The Tin Woman continues its run at TATC through August 13. Paper Mill Playhouse, recipient of the 2016 Regional Theatre Tony Award, presents Mel Brooks' award-winning musical The Producers, directed by Don Stephenson and choreographed by Bill Burns. The Producers features music and lyrics by Mel Brooks, a book by Mel Brooks andThomas Meehan, and the original Broadway direction and choreography by Susan Stroman.
Paper Mill Playhouse will be hosting an invite-only, industry reading of Paul Slade Smith's The Outsider this March in New York City. In line with Paper Mill Playhouse's mission of fostering a creative environment for advancing the art form, the theater is bringing together top industry professionals to aid in the development of the play.

Door County's Peninsula Players Theatre (PPT) celebrates their 80th season with an exceptional world premiere A Real Lulu. Through out the play the Nowaks reveal the legend of their miracle and it has unforeseen effects on the family, particularly mother Clara (Peggy Roeder) and daughter Ruth (Ellen Noel Grennan).
