Theatre East presents Devil and the Deep, a new musical reimagining of Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island, at Theater 3 (311 West 43rd Street, NY 10036). Previews begin tonight, June 6 and the Opening is Thursday, June 11th for the limited engagement.

Theatre East presents Devil and the Deep, a new musical reimagining of Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island, at Theater 3 (311 West 43rd Street, NY 10036). The Opening is Thursday, June 11th for the limited engagement. Music and lyrics are by Graham Russell (of Air Supply) and Katie McGhie, with book and additional lyrics by Melissa Bell.

OBIE Award-winning theater company Metropolitan Playhouse will present the eleventh annual East Side Stories, a three-week celebration of the life and lore of the East Village featuring twelve new plays and solo performances chronicling such timely topics as real estate, rising development and the loss of old neighbors as well as historical events like the Astor Place and Tompkins Square Riots.
