Two dazzling specials featuring some of the biggest names in music will bring melodies in December: “A Very Backstreet Christmas” celebrates the holidays with The Backstreet Boys, and “Finding Harmony” is an uplifting story featuring EGOT winner John Legend and David Brown, founder of the Columbus-based Harmony Project in Ohio.

In celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the first Pitch Perfect film, which premiered in theaters October 5, 2012, Peacock has shared the first teaser trailer for its new spinoff series, Bumper in Berlin. Paradise Now! a funny and raging new play about ambition, exploitation, and kinship in a world that wants to keep us strangers, opens at the Bush Theatre on 2 December (press night 8 December).  This new Bush Theatre commission by Margaret Perry (Collapsible) is an exciting collaboration with director Jaz Woodcock-Stewart (Civilisation) and features an all-female ensemble cast.

Tessa Thompson and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are attached to star in the new sci-fi thriller ASH, directed by Flying Lotus and based on an original screenplay written by Jonni Remmler. XYZ Films and GFC Films are to produce, with Neill Blomkamp (DISTRICT 9) and Echo Lake onboard as exec producers.

Audible Inc., the leading creator and provider of premium audio storytelling, has announced a multi-project slate deal with AT WILL MEDIA, an award winning independently-owned podcast studio.

ABC’s “Press Your Luck” grew over the prior week by 5% in Total Viewers (4.0 million vs. 3.8 million) to score its most-watched original telecast since July 2020 – since 7/12/20. “Press Your Luck” also improved week to week by 20% among Adults 18-49 (0.6/6 vs. 0.5/6) to hit a new summer high.

Disney+ has shared the new trailer and first look photos for the third season of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, revealing that Jesse Tyler Ferguson and JoJo Siwa have joined the cast, which includes Corbin Bleu, Julia Lester, Olivia Rodrigo, and more. This season will feature music from “Frozen,” Camp Rock” and “High School Musical.'

Austrian Comedian Celeste Barber is bringing her 'Fine, Thanks. Tour' stateside and will close out the 42-city tour with a stop at the Boch Center Shubert Theatre on August 30.
