ABC Announces Holiday Lineup With Disney Films & Specials

ABC is spreading holiday cheer this season and today announced a lineup of festive programming that will air during the most wonderful time of the year.

Highlights include The Wonderful World of Disney movies, “Frozen,” “Home Alone,” and “The Santa Clause”; holiday-themed episodes of fan-favorite shows including “The $100,000 Pyramid,” “America’s Funniest Home Videos” and “Shark Tank”; and a magical new season of “The Great Christmas Light Fight” also returns, along with news of a season 12 pickup for 2024.

Dazzling holiday specials, including “CMA Country Christmas” from Nashville, “The Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade,” “The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration,” “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest,” and the previously announced “iHeartRadio Jingle Ball 2023” special, round out the schedule.

7:00-8:00 p.m. EST - America’s Funniest Home Videos: “3407” (3407)

It’s the ha-ha-holiday episode making a special delivery including heaps of hilarity and laughter as kids react in over-the-top fashion to their gifts; Christmas trees take unexpected tumbles, plus, a countdown of “AFV”’s top 10 Santas.

8:00-10:00 p.m. EST - The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration

This ABC holiday season staple returns for its eighth year with a sparkling spectacle of all-new musical performances from Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disney’s Aulani Resort and Spa in Hawaii. The special is executive produced by Disney Parks Programming along with Film 45 Live.

The most wonderful time of the year is here as ABC’s hit holiday decorating competition series, “The Great Christmas Light Fight,” returns taking a look back at some of the most iconic light displays from previous seasons in our All-Stars premiere episode.
