Eight talented singers a part of the Bergen County Players staged Rodgers and Hammerstein's Tony Award-nominated musical revue at the Little Firehouse Theater in Oradell in a delighted audience.

Old Library Theatre, Fair Lawn Recreation Department's resident theater company, will proudly present Andrew Lippa's The Wild Party. Book, music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa. This production is produced by Matthew Haines and Al LoMartire, directed by Dennis Oliveira, choreographed by Melanie Mayne Richardson, with music direction by Leo Leuci.

Bergen County Players (BCP), one of America's longest-running little theater companies, is proud to open its 86th season with the Tony Award-winning musical, The Mystery of Edwin Drood.   With Book, Music and Lyrics written by Rupert Holmes, The Mystery of Edwin Drood is based on an unfinished novel by Charles Dickens. Bergen County Players (BCP) continues its 85th season with Steel Magnolias, written by Robert Harling and directed by Ellyn Essig. Steel Magnolias will run February 17th through March 10th with curtain at 8 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 pm on Sundays. Get ready to roll in the aisles as Bergen County Players (BCP) ushers in the 2017-2018 season with a side-splitting production of SPAMALOT, adapted from the classic 1975 cult film comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

HAIR: THE AMERICAN TRIBAL ROCK MUSICAL, book and lyrics by Gerome Ragni and James Rado and music by Galt MacDemott, made its debut at Joe Papp's Public Theater on October 17, 1967 before moving to the Cheetah and ultimately to Broadway six months later. Nominated for Best Musical in 1969, Winner of the 1969 Grammy for Best Score and Winner of Best Revival of a Musical in 2009, HAIR IS A STORY OF THE HIPPIE COUNTERCULTURE OF THE 1960S WHEREIN A GROUP OF YOUNG PEOPLE SEARCH FOR TRUTH, LOVE AND PEACE IN THE TUMULTUOUS VIETNAM WAR ERA. SONGS SUCH AS 'AQUARIUS',

Set in 1931 Berlin, Cabaret primarily takes place amid the nightlife of the seedy Kit Kat Klub. Life there revolves around the 19-year-old English cabaret performer, Sally Bowles and her relationship with the young American writer, Cliff Bradshaw. Overseeing the action is the mysterious Master of Ceremonies at the Kit Kat Klub, which serves as a metaphor for ominous political developments in Germany as the Nazis rise to power. Director Alan Demovsky encourages the audience to ask questions: "Why have so many versions of this story been told for almost 100 years? Is it truly a cautionary tale? Can this happen again? Is it perpetually happening?"

The Bergen County Players will kick off their 83rd season in high style with a production of the classic musical 'Guys and Dolls', celebrating the incredibly entertaining musical's 65th anniversary, over five weekends beginning Saturday, September 12th and concluding Saturday, October 10th. The curtain for Friday and Saturday performances will rise at 8 pm with Sunday matinees at 2 pm and will be presented at the Little Firehouse Theatre, 298 Kinderkamack Road, in Oradell. Bergen County Players continues its 'From Page to Stage' season with Christopher Sergel's adaptation of Harper Lee's Pulitzer Prize-winning landmark American classic 'To Kill a Mockingbird' beginning Saturday, March 22nd and concluding Saturday, April 12th. This timeless tale of innocence and tolerance follows the journey of a young white girl whose father has been appointed to defend a black man framed for a crime he claims he did not commit. Performed at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell, the drama provides a poignant look at justice and the human spirit, as told through the eyes of a young girl learning the mysteries and realities of adulthood. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm ($20) and Sundays at 2:00 pm ($16). The theater will be alive with The Sound of Music when a one-hour concert sing-along adaptation of the classic show is presented by Bergen County Players (BCP) as the final Second Stage production of the 80th season. Running for just three performances, from June 21st through June 23rd, shows will be on Friday and Saturday night at 8pm while the Sunday matinee curtain will be raised at 2pm.
