What began as 40 hours of taped sessions with Broadway’s “gypsies” has evolved into a 50-year legacy that redefined the American musical.

Geva Theatre in Rochester, NY, led by Artistic Director Elizabeth Williamson, will present a dynamic 2026/27 season featuring musicals, dramas, and new works, starting with A CHORUS LINE in September.

Rineer have earned major national recognition in musical theatre writing, with Price and Smith named 2026 Kleban Prize winners and Rineer selected as a 2026 Jonathan Larson Grant recipient.

The 5th Avenue Theatre Company has revealed its 2026/27 season, featuring a collection of five shows, two self-produced, two national tours, and one still to be announced that will combine for a captivating year of theater.

Karen Mason will celebrate her 75th birthday with a special concert at Birdland Jazz Club. Directed by Barry Kleinbort with music direction by Christopher Denny, the evening will feature Broadway favorites and personal stories from Mason’s award-winning career.

Lorna Dallas, one of cabaret's most acclaimed and cherished artists and the recipient of a 2020 Bistro Award for “Consummate Cabaret Artistry,” returns to Chelsea Table + Stage.

TheaterWorks will present A Chorus Line, the landmark musical by Marvin Hamlisch, Edward Kleban, James Kirkwood Jr., and Nicholas Dante, from February 6 through February 22, 2026, at the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts.

Metalinguistic and vibrant, the production celebrates the dreams, pain, and persistence of those who live to dance.

A Chorus Line, featuring music by Marvin Hamlisch, lyrics by Edward Kleban, and book by James Kirkwood, Jr. and Nicholas Dante, first opened in 1975 under the direction of Michael Bennett with co-choreographer Bob Avian.

Earlier this week., The Entertainment Community Fund (formerly The Actors Fund), along with Tony Award®-winning producers Christopher Ketner and Hunter Regian, presented A Chorus Line Official 50th Anniversary Celebration at Broadway’s Shubert Theatre, home of Hell’s Kitchen.
