Theatre Tulsa begins the Play Series of its 100th season with the classic play 'Our Town', now playing!

Tickets will go on sale for Second Stage Theater's simulcast performances of its Broadway production of Stephen Adly Guirgis’ play, BETWEEN RIVERSIDE AND CRAZY, directed by Austin Pendleton on Friday, November 11 at 12pm EST. 

Transport Group in partnership with National Asian American Theatre Company (NAATCO) is presenting Edward Albee's A Delicate Balance, directed by Transport Group Artistic Director Jack Cummings III, at the Connelly Theater, 220 East 4 Street. Check out photos from opening night here!

North Star Theater Company (NSTC) presents the acclaimed Pulitzer Prize winning play, “OUR TOWN”, by Thorton Wilder.  Directed by Christa Piper of Hamburg, “OUR TOWN” will be performed at Sussex County Community College's Chapel Theatre on November 18 & 19 (8pm), November 19 & 20 (3 pm).

Following HalfPint at Night, SigSpace will feature, on November 13 from 5:30-6:30pm, a concert response to Quiara Alegría Hudes’ memoir My Broken Language from Bushwick Book Club—the theatrical adaptation of which is currently being performed in the Signature Center’s Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre (through November 27).

In the short play Just Another Day at the Zoo, we're introduced to two characters, Cell Phone and Old School. They're from different generations and different worlds. Meeting at a park bench, they begin to engage in conversation, but perceive that the cultural gaps between them are formidable. Can these two polarized figures possibly bond?

Directed by Fernando Philbert, and starring Suely Franco, Deborah Evelyn e Nathalia Dill the play brings a biting comedy that reflects on the passage of time through the settling of accounts between three generations.

You not only have to have the talent to do the technical side of costume drama well, and have actors who can emote convincingly and then (in this case) reverse gears convincingly, and then reverse gears again as many times as the script calls for. You need a script that doesn’t make them do it so often it makes the audience stop following and stop caring. That is a bar this script doesn't clear.
