Leicester’s Curve theatre has announced the full cast of actors and puppeteers for the Made at Curve world premiere stage adaptation of family favourite picture book, PIRATES LOVE UNDERPANTS.

The show is in itself show-stopping. The cast of accomplished triple-threats swaps tense competition for a jubilant celebration of form. In a post-pandemic industry that’s suffered cuts to the arts across all areas, it’s disheartening to see an artist’s quality of life hasn’t exactly progressed much. But, gosh, they make it look so beautiful.

All new production photos have been released for the UK tour of Curve’s hit revival of A CHORUS LINE, currently playing at Curve until 13 July, with a summer season at Sadler’s Wells, before embarking on a UK tour. Check out the photos here!

According to a social media post from the Curve, Jessica Daley, who is currently starring as Britney in I SHOULD BE SO LUCKY is making the 2-and-a-half-hour trip from her home in Middlesbrough to Curve Leicester to sing the role of Eva Peron in Evita.

Curve has announced the cast and creative team for its upcoming Made at Curve production of Billy Elliot the Musical. The first new UK production is directed by Nikolai Foster (A Chorus Line, Sunset Boulevard – At Home, West Side Story) and will run at the Leicester theatre for six weeks only from Thursday 7 July to Sunday 14 August.

A Curve, Theatre Royal Bath Productions and Mayflower Theatre Southampton co-production. Beautiful – The Carole King Musical, will visit Theatre Royal Brighton from Tuesday 29 March to Saturday 2 April.

At one point in Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, Carole declines a request to sing with a band, because she can't imagine anyone would want 'to hear a normal person sing'. As it turns out, millions of people want exactly that, and the show starts and ends with Carole performing her smash-hit album Tapestry at Carnegie Hall.

Leicester’s Curve, Theatre Royal Bath Productions and Mayflower Theatre Southampton have announced the company of talented actor-musicians joining their new UK tour of Beautiful – The Carole King Musical. Opening at Curve on Monday 28 February 2022, the company will be led by Molly-Grace Cutler (The Worst Witch, Girls Don’t Play Guitars, We’ll Live and Die in these Towns) as Carole King.

A brand new production of the award-winning West End and Broadway show, Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, visits Theatre Royal Brighton from Tuesday 29 March to Saturday 2 April. This new tour is co-produced by Curve, Leicester, Theatre Royal Bath Productions and Mayflower Theatre Southampton.
