For a strictly limited season from 12 - 13 May 2017, the MES Theatre at Mediacorp is to be haunted by a company of seven world-class West End singers, who, along with the homegrown pianist, Joel Nah, will present a thrilling evening of musical theatre in an outstanding show that has become the most exciting concert phenomenon to tour Europe and critiqued as 'simply phenomenal'.

Nominees for The Curtain Up Show Album of the Year 2016 in association with TodayTix will be revealed live on Resonance FM this Friday at 4.00pm GMT.

Following the critically acclaimed, sell out production of Titanic, Thom Sutherland, Artistic Director of the Charing Cross Theatre directs a new production of Ragtime, playing for a strictly limited season. 

It was the music of something beginning... Ragtime, the landmark Broadway musical, will play the Charing Cross Theatre (The Arches, Villiers Street), in London's West End, beginning October 8th and run through December 10th in a strictly limited engagement. Opening night is set for October 17th.

On October 24, Dan and Laura Curtis will release their second studio album called, 'Overture.' The composers and musicians known for their album, 'Love on 42nd Street,' have returned with twenty four beautiful new songs performed by the stars of Broadway and the West End.

Ako Mitchell stars as Harlem musician Coalhouse Walker Jr., one of the central characters in the musical 'Ragtime'. This stunning new actor-musician version, with a cast led by West End and Broadway stars EARL CARPENTER and  ANITA LOUISE COMB, will follow critically acclaimed 'Titanic' as the second in-house production at Charing Cross Theatre.

THE ESPLANADE THEATER, Singapore - There is no doubt that LES MISERABLES has taken the form of the mammoth blockbuster musical it is now thirty years after its first production and it is clear that this 2016 re-imagined production - currently taking over Southeast Asian theaters and filling them up to the rafters - is a decisive indication that this Cameron Mackintosh ticket is all set to march on for another 30 years, or perhaps even longer.

STARS ALIGN --- The brightest celebrities and the who's who in the international world of publishing,, film and the media industry, all aligned in perfect symmetry as if to mirror the throng of revolutionists of the classic VICTOR HUGO literary masterpiece moments before the musical adaptation's barricade was willed into reality by Enjolras.

'23 years later to my amazement and pride, it has become the world's longest running musical, I tell you why --- because we are getting older, but it looks like the show is never aging. It is kind of getting younger' Alain Boublil says, lightening up the mood before the preview opened with a rousing performance of the LES MISERABLES anthems THE BARRICADE, followed by ON MY OWN, BRING HIM HOME, and ONE DAY MORE. 'Because all the people playing the show now were not even born when Claude Michel and I were writing it!' Boublil says in deadpan humor, much to the amusement of the Singaporean press.

Simon Gleeson has always been very vocal about how he grew up to the music and the stirring plot of LES MISERABLES. Now as the lead actor in one of the most acclaimed touring productions of the Alain Boublil and Claude Michel Schonberg legendary musical, his primal recollections of the show still remain deeply rooted in him, just as his portrayal of Valjean is most assuredly deeply emblazoned onto the subconsciousness of audiences who have had the privilege to see him in this musical theater role of a lifetime.
