New casting is announced for the extended run of the critically acclaimed 30th Anniversary production of Fame the Musical playing for a strictly limited season at the newly opened Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre, located in the heart of North West London's new cultural neighbourhood from 23 Dec a?" 26 Jan.

Holmdel Theatre Company begins its 2019-2020 season with Little Women: The Musical. The show features a book by Alan Knee, lyrics by Mindi Dickstein, and music by Jason Howland. The musical opened on Broadway in 2005 starring Sutton Foster in the lead role of Jo. Little Women ran on Broadway for four months and was nominated for multiple Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle Awards.

Holmdel Theatre Company (HTC) will present Little Women the Musical, a magical story of family, sisterhood, and self-discovery November 8 through November 24, 2019. Nestled amongst the flourishing fall foliage of central New Jersey, Holmdel Theatre Company at the Duncan Smith Theater opens up their intimate 99-seat black box theater to bring this heartwarming Broadway favorite, and the perfect family show for all ages, to life.

Holmdel Theatre Company concludes its 30th season with the contemporary musical, Next to Normal.

Holmdel Theatre Company (HTC) brings the groundbreaking and provocative rock musical Next to Normal to Holmdel from July 19 through August 4, 2019. With a phenomenal book by Brian Yorkey and powerful score by Tom Kitt, this moving piece is the winner of three 2009 Tony Awards, including Best Musical Score, and the 2010 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

Eight brand-new fifteen-minute musicals will have their world premiere on July 18 and 19 at the Broadwater Second Stage in Hollywood. These musicals are a decades-long tradition at New Musicals Inc., and one of the hottest tickets in town.

BAM and Caribbean Film Series present two special events this June: Stefon Bristol's Spike Lee-produced sci-fi feature See You Yesterday (2019) on Tuesday, June 4 at 7pm, and Storm Saulter's Jamaican sports film Sprinter (2018), screening on Wednesday, June 26 at 7:30pm.

Netflix and Spike Lee's 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks, Inc to release the time travel drama See You Yesterday. Based on the award-winning short film, the feature centers on two Brooklyn teenage science prodigies, Claudette “C.J.” Walker and Sebastian J. Thomas, who build make-shift time machines to save C.J.'s brother, Calvin, from being wrongfully killed by a police officer. The film is produced by Spike Lee and stars Eden-Duncan Smith (Roxanne Roxanne) and newcomer Danté Crichlow.

Fame follows the gruelling training and education regime of several aspiring performers attending the New York City High School for the Performing Arts. On Monday, June 26, 2017, Broadway Sings for Pride will premiere their 7th anniversary benefit concert in New York City at the JCC Manhattan. This milestone event will be filled with singing (from pop to Broadway), stories, special guests, and, of course, fun! The proceeds will benefit The Tyler Clementi Foundation and Orlando's Contigo Fund.

On April 3rd, Gospel singer Donny McClurkin rendered a pop-up master class at the Mama Foundation for the Arts at the request of popular radio personality, producer and founder, Vy Higginsen. The students in attendance were from the from the top tier level of Gospel for Teens and the adult class, Wednesday Sings both taught by The Mama Foundation's Executive Music and Program Director, Knoelle Higginson.
