TheatreWorks Silicon Valley announced its 52nd season, featuring six plays and musicals to be presented November 2022 through August 2023. Three of the season's productions will be mounted at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, and three will be staged at Palo Alto's Lucie Stern Theatre. Subscriptions are now available; single tickets will be available in the coming months at TheatreWorks.org.

The Alley Theatre digital viewing of its 75th season finale production – Noir is now available. This world-premiere musical is directed by Tony Award® winner Darko Tresnjak and can be watched July 4 – July 18, 2022.

The Guthrie Theater today announced the cast and creative team for Sweat, written by two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage and directed by Tamilla Woodard. Sweat will play July 16 – August 21, 2022, on the McGuire Proscenium Stage.

Manhattan Theatre Club’s Broadway premiere of the Pulitzer Prize-winning How I Learned to Drive was filmed last week by the Theatre on Film and Tape Archive of New York Public Library. The production is now in its final week of performances and will end its extended run on Sunday, June 12 at MTC’s Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street).

Duncan Sheik has shared his new single “Maybe” from the forthcoming AntiFragile Music album Claptrap. Duncan Sheik launched his career as a singer/songwriter with is 1996 self-titled debut album which featured his chart topping hit “Barely Breathing.” He is also the subject of the HBO Documentary ‘Spring Awakening: Those You’ve Known.’

It has been over 130 years since German playwright Frank Wedekind first published SPRING AWAKENING. In 2006, the play was reinvented when Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater turned it into a musical.
