BAM Artistic Director David Binder today announced programming for Yours Theirs Ours, a new season of 16 engagements by dynamic artists across the artistic spectruma?"with many making their BAM debuts. Engagements will run from March 23a?"June 30 and will be presented in all of BAM's venues and off-site.
Canada's acclaimed Talk is Free Theatre (TIFT) is coming to the Adelaide Fringe for the first time with three site-specific, immersive productions. For TIFT's inaugural year at the Adelaide Fringe, they have partnered with the prolific and adventurous, Hartstone-Kitney Productions, a South Australia based theatrical producing livewire theatre which will help bring to life an annual Canada Capsule at the Adelaide Fringe.
With its next play, Terrific New Theatre will make history by staging its first-ever pop-up production. Every Brilliant Thing, a one-man show, will be performed at the Magic City Acceptance Center's new Youth Center, located at the corner of Third Avenue South and 32nd Street, three blocks east of TNT's longtime home at Pepper Place. Forward Theater Company continues to reinvent The Playhouse at Overture Center this season with Every Brilliant Thing by Duncan MacMillan. Forward has removed all balcony seating for this production and created a new seating section on the floor to present this immersive play in-the-round.

Today, Monday 4th November 2019, Phoebe Eclair-Powell's play, SHED: EXPLODED VIEW, has been named the overall winner of the Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting during a ceremony at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester. As well as receiving £16,000, Eclair-Powell will work with the Royal Exchange Theatre's creative team to develop the script.
With Extinction Rebellion looming large in the capital, it's canny programming to revive Duncan Macmillan's 2011 play about a couple debating the merits of having a child a?' including fears about how introducing another person might impact the planet. The play also gets a boost from the starry casting of The Crown's Claire Foy and Matt Smith, whose established chemistry is a huge asset here.
