When I heard that the 24-HOUR PLAYS were coming to the Arkansas Repertory Theatre in Little Rock and which actors were being asked to join, I was intrigued. One, I have never heard of this concept, and two, this sounded like a crazy idea.

This, however, was not the case for OUR TOWN, which is going on now through March 19, at the Argenta Community Theater, 405 Main Street, in North Little Rock. This play is offered as part of the ACANSA - Arts Festival of the South. OUR TOWN is one of many events that are playing in Little Rock and North Little Rock through March 25th. Dark Night is an evening to celebrate and honor live theatre in Central Arkansas. The Nellie Award is named after Nellie Forbush from Rodgers and Hammerstein's South Pacific and is given to a group or individuals for its involvement with and support of live theatre in Central Arkansas.
