Roar! Watch King Kong perform on this morning's Thanksgiving Day Parade!

King Kong has announced that it will have a digital lottery!

The multi award-winning production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Jesus Christ Superstar is back. Following two sell-out seasons at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre, it comes to comes to the Barbican Theatre for just 60 performances from 4 July, 2019. Book tickets here!

Using Merian C. Cooper and Ernest B. Schoedsack's 1933 cinema classic 'King Kong' as the inspiration for a musical theatre piece really isn't such a bad idea. Among the film's notable achievements is the extraordinary dramatic underscoring music by Max Steiner, that supplied the title character's tragic death plunge from atop the Empire State Building with the kind of heartbreaking emotion that would make any operatic tenor jealous.

The new musical King Kong opens on Broadway tonight, Thursday November 8, at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). The cast is led by Christiani Pitts, (A Bronx Tale) as Ann Darrow, Eric William Morris (Mamma Mia!) as Carl Denham, and Erik Lochtefeld (Misery, Metamorphoses) as Lumpy.

The new musical King Kong opens on Broadway tomorrow, Thursday November 8, at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). The production began performances October 5. All new photos have been released, and you can check them out below!

Regent's Park Open Air Theatre and the Barbican Theatre have today announced that, following its overwhelming sell-out success in 2016 and 2017 at the Open Air Theatre, Jesus Christ Superstar transfers to the Barbican Theatre for just 60 performances in 2019 (4 July - 24 August). Earlier this year the production played the Lyric Opera of Chicago, and it embarks on a North American Tour in the Autumn of 2019.

Producers of the new Broadway musical King Kong have announced that the Wednesday, October 31 matinee at 2pm has been cancelled to allow further time to incorporate final adjustments in the production prior to its November 8 opening. The Wednesday evening performance will proceed as scheduled at 8PM.

Performances of King Kong began Friday, October 5 and the musical officially opens Thursday, November 8 at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). All new photos have just been released of the cast in action. Check them out below!
