The new musical King Kong begins performances tonight, Friday, October 5 prior to a Thursday, November 8 opening night at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway).

Fascinating Aida's Adele Anderson is confirmed to join Mark Williams, who plays Doctor Dolittle, in the UK & Ireland Tour of Doctor Dolittle. Adele will play Lady Bellowes/Poison Arrow at the first six venues of the tour - Bromley, Salford, Oxford, Wolverhampton, Newcastle and Hull. There will be a national press night on Thursday 17 January 2019 at the Oxford New Theatre.

Best-selling recording artist, X-Factor winner and West End star Matt Cardle stars with the cast of Strictly Ballroom The Musical through until the end of the celebrated run at the Piccadilly Theatre, on Saturday 27 October. Tuesday, August 21, the Jacob Burns Film Center (Pleasantville, NY) screened the original 1933 classic King Kong before scheduled to come alive on Broadway this fall. The screening was followed by a Q&A with the Musical Creative Team, including curator Dori Berinstein, director/choreographer Drew McOnie, set & projection designer Peter England, creature designer Sonny Tilders and executive producer Babara Darwall Collins.

The Actors Fund announced today that tickets are now on sale for a special screening of the original 1933 film King Kong, in partnership with the Jacob Burns Film Center (JBFC) as part of their ongoing film series, 'Life on the Stage: Conversation and Film.' The screening will be followed by a Q&A with members of the creative team of the upcoming Broadway musical

Subsequently adapted into an Oscar-nominated film, Sweet Charity is a modern Broadway classic following the trials and tribulations of Charity Hope Valentine (played by Trehearn).

Brian Capron, Vicky Entwistle, Mollie Melia-Redgrave and Patrick Sullivan are confirmed to join Mark Williams, who plays Doctor Dolittle, in the UK & Ireland Tour of Doctor Dolittle. Brian will play Albert Blossom/Straight Arrow, Vicky will play Polynesia, Mollie Emma Fairfax and Patrick Matthew Mugg. Mark Williams and Brian Capron will play the first ten venues on the tour - Bromley, Salford, Oxford, Wolverhampton, Newcastle, Hull, Aberdeen, Northampton, Nottingham and Sheffield. The others will play the entire tour. There will be a national press night on Thursday 17 January 2019 at the Oxford New Theatre.

Paul Taylor-Mills has recently stepped down as the Artistic Director of The Other Palace, though he will continue working there in the role of Affiliate Producer while also pursuing his own independent projects. He has many producing credits to his name already, including the popular In the Heights at the Southwark Playhouse and King's Cross Theatre and Heathers currently on at The Other Palace which will transfer to the Theatre Royal Haymarket in September.
