TIANANMEN: A NEW MUSICAL is The Phoenix Theatre Company's ambitious but modest effort to honor the courageous student protesters of Tiananmen Square. The show runs through October 29th.

First Look Buffalo Theatre Company (FLB), which exclusively showcases both world and regional premiers, will present the first theatrical production to be held at the all-new Canterbury Woods Performing Arts Center in Williamsville. Some of Broadway's great talents will once again be merging with the best of Buffalo's own actors to present a beloved hit from 1964--Jerry Herman's HELLO, DOLLY! Starring Buffalo, led by Artistic Director Drew Fornarola, has assembled a cast of nearly 50 for it's concert presentation of the classic show.

Fursona non Grata is a new comedy by Jeff Goode. It chronicles the story of Lisa a successful young attorney, who, along with her long-time boyfriend, Dane, is lured home under urgent circumstance. This is Dane's first-time face to face or better 'face to fur' meeting with her family. Upon their arrival Dane discovers that during their 3 year relationship Lisa left out one small detail, she is from a family of furriers*! What happens next is a madcap comedy of faux paus, misunderstandings and personal growth.

The new musical Tiananmen, which will premiere in 2023 just ahead of an upcoming industry-staged reading September 20th, 2022, announced the New York cast as well as a major addition to its creative team.

The Phoenix Theatre Company's seasonwill kick off in August and includes nine shows ranging from classic musicals like A Chorus Line and family favorites like Cinderella to the world-premiere of Tiananmen.
