Art House Productions has announced the 2019-2020 cohort of its INKubator Program. INKubator is a year-long generative process for a select group of 6 playwrights in residence at Art House Productions. This year's playwrights are Kev Berry, J. Julian Christopher, Alyssa Haddad, Christopher-Rashee Stevenson, Leila Teitelman, and Colin Waitt.

Found Stages and Dunwoody Nature Center are joining to present the fourth play in the second annual 'Wine & Reading Series,' Gabrielle Fulton's SEED PLANTER on Sunday, October 13, 2019.

King's Head Theatre and Making Productions are pleased to announce casting for Robert Chesley's play Jerker, which returns to London for the first time in 29 years. Tibu Fortes will play Bert and Tom Joyner will play J R, directed by Ben Anderson. Jerker runs at the Kings Head Theatre between 30 October and 23 November 2019 (press night Friday 1 November).

The New Deal Creative Arts Center presents a free public reading of Tough Love, a new play written by playwright Louisa Vilardi, a Hopewell Junction resident. Tough Love is a mix of comedy and drama that explores how much it takes to give up or give in when it comes to marriage and family.

The Tank will present the World Premiere of The Séance Machine, written by EllaRose Chary and Brandon James Gwinn (Cotton Candy and Cocaine with Theater C; TL;DR: Thelma Louise; Dyke Remix at Rhinebeck Writers Retreat/The Tank), co-produced by Kimberly Hyacinthe and directed by Julia Sears (Bullet Catchers with Women in Combat Theatre Project; Wives Tale with Exquisite Corpse Company), at The Tank (312 West 36th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues), October 10-31.

59E59 Theaters presents the world premiere of A WOMAN OF THE WORLD written by Rebecca Gilman and directed by Valentina Fratti. Produced by The Acting Company in association with Miranda Theatre Company, A WOMAN OF THE WORLD begins performances on Thursday, October 24 for a limited engagement through Sunday, November 17. Ucross, a prestigious artist residency program and creative laboratory for the arts, and the Alley Theatre, one of America's leading regional theatres, today announced an innovative new collaboration in support of theatre artists. The Jeff Awards will honor Teatro Vista with the 2019 Special Equity Jeff Award at the Equity Ceremony at Drury Lane Oakbrook on October 21, 2019.
