Host Sean “Diddy” Combs was joined by today’s Billboard chart-topping artists for exhilarating performances, empowering moments, and historic wins. Eight on-air awards were given out, in addition to the earlier non-broadcast categories, and Olivia Rodrigo took home the most trophies of the night with seven wins.

Ahead of tonight’s “2022 Billboard Music Awards” (BBMAs), MRC and NBC announced the first group of winners. The BBMAs honor the year’s top performing artists on the Billboard Charts in 62 categories across all genres of music.

GLAAD, the world’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) media advocacy organization, held the 33rd Annual GLAAD Media Awards in New York City last night. The event also featured special performances from Dove Cameron of her hit single ‘Boyfriend’ and Michael R. Jackson, who performed from his Pulitzer-Prize winning Broadway musical A Strange Loop.

GLAAD also announced recipients for 16 of this year’s 30 categories for the 33rd Annual GLAAD Media Awards. Additional categories were announced in Los Angeles on April 2 and a full list is available below.

The track follows “Another Man’s Jeans,” Ashe’s first piece of new music since the release of her debut album Ashlyn. The record featured “Till Forever Falls Apart” with FINNEAS, which was named one of the best songs of 2021 by the Los Angeles Times and recently surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify. Michael R. Jackson will appear in a special performance from his Pulitzer Prize-winning musical “A Strange Loop' during the 33rd Annual GLAAD Media Awards. The awards will also feature Ariana DeBose presenting an honor to Judith Light, Wilson Cruz receiving the Vito Russo Award, a performance from Dove Cameron, and more.

Dove Cameron most recently starred as Betsy in Apple TV+'s hit musical series Schmigadoon! She was also seen as Cher in the Off-Broadway production of Clueless: The Musical and in Netflix's Dumplin' with Jennifer Aniston. Watch the new performance now!

iHeartRadio has announced additional performers for the 2022 “iHeartRadio Music Awards” including Olivia Rodrigo, Silk Sonic, Lil Nas X, Billy Porter, The Kid LAROI, David Guetta, Avril Lavigne, Shaun White, All Time Low, Willow Smith, Robin Thicke, Nicole Scherzinger, Gina Torres, Oliver Hudson, Lainey Wilson, Dove Cameron, and more.

Music Theater Works’s production of the Tony-Award winning La Cage Aux Folles, music and lyrics by Jerry Herman, book by Harvey Fierstein, directed by Producing Artistic Director Kyle Dougan and music directed by Kyra Leigh with choreography by Christopher Chase Carter is now playing through April 3.

Yesterday, March 11th, the American Film Institute (AFI) celebrated the 2021 AFI AWARDS honorees with a star-studded invite-only luncheon in Beverly Hills. What Goes Around Comes Around, is a bold feminine anthem of love, heartbreak and redemption, with a smooth R&B sound fused with electronic beats. The semi-autobiographical track was co-written with Murphy and veteran songwriter Cassidi, and produced with rhythmic beats and flawless melodies.

Alan Cumming will host a star-studded, one-night-only virtual presentation of acclaimed mentalist Jason Suran’s smash hit mind reading show Reconnected on Saturday, January 29, 2022 beginning with a special pre-show concert at 7:30 PM ET followed by the show 8 - 9 PM EST, to benefit Trinity’s Services and Food For the Homeless (SAFH). 

Mr. Kim was excited to make his North American debut at San Diego Opera and was impressed with the Company's safety protocols enacted to ensure the safety of the artists, staff, and audience, but needs to withdraw for personal reasons. The Company hopes to welcome him in the future. Mr. Brancy recently performed the role of Guglielmo in San Francisco Opera's production of Cosí fan tutte.

Just last night, Roundabout Theatre Company's Broadway premiere of Trouble in Mind opened on Broadway. Trouble in Mind is led by LaChanze as 'Wiletta Mayer,' with Michael Zegen as 'Al Manners,' Chuck Cooper as 'Sheldon Forrester,' Danielle Campbell as 'Judy Sears,' Jessica Frances Dukes as 'Millie Davis,' Brandon Micheal Hall as 'John Nevins,' Simon Jones as 'Henry,' Alex Mickiewicz as 'Eddie Fenton,' and Don Stephenson as 'Bill O'Wray.'
