The event aims to showcase BIPOC and/or LGBTQIA individuals and relevant themes, giving a stage to voices that may be missing from the theatre's mainstage season. American Stage partnered with James Museum as they are strongly interested in indigenous land and culture preservation. As a part of American Stage's and the James Museum's commitment to diverse voices, each year, at least one playwright featured in the festival will be an indigenous artist.

Imagination Stage is an institution of the DC/MD theatre community and has been bringing theatre to children and audiences alike for over 40 years. With their new production of ‘Spy Academy & The Lost Treasure of Atlantis’ Imagination stage brings interactive theatre directly into the household. Children ages 5+ are invited to participate in an online interactive adventure where they assist Spy Team 7 with a series of puzzles and decisions to help retrieve the heart of the dragon from the wicked Dr. Levinious. Before showtime, adults are instructed in secret, to put together a few household items as well as printing out an instruction packet as props to be used in the interactive performance.

ABC Gives Full Season Order to SCHOOLED

ABC has given a full-season order to Wednesday night comedy “Schooled,” Karey Burke, president, ABC Entertainment, announced today. The additional order brings the season total to 22 episodes for “Schooled,” the “The Goldbergs” spinoff, in its sophomore season on the network. The series is from Sony Pictures Television and ABC Studios.

The Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills will take visitors back in time for its exclusive new exhibit celebrating the fashion from The Goldbergs and Schooled. The Goldbergs & Schooled Rewind! will immerse visitors into all the nostalgic fun of two acclaimed series, set in two of the most fashion-driven eras in pop-culture history. The exhibit is free and is open to the public from October 16 - November 17, and will kick off with a special preview launch event with the cast and creative team of The Goldbergs on October 15.

The Goldbergs are back and it's gonna be an epic year for everyone's favorite '80s family. Meddling mama Beverly is thrilled all her schmoos are back under the same roof. It gives her one last shot at smothering like the old days while delightfully grumpy dad Murray weighs the costly snap-decisions of his moron kids. Temperamental middle child and groom-to-be Barry is psyched to top off his legendary year by marrying the love of his life, Lainey Lewis, who's back in town and amping up to join one of the zaniest families on the block. Meanwhile, oldest sister Erica dropped out of college to pursue her lifelong dream of rock stardom. The only catch is now she has to chase that dream under the same roof she grew up in and so recently escaped. One person thrilled Erica's back is her lovable, dopey, doting boyfriend, Geoff Schwartz. This year, Adam finds himself settling into his geeky identity in high school, while navigating life in the midst of all the chaos at home. Naturally, all the family adventures will be captured on Adam's VHS camera.
