Barrington Stage Company announced today casting for its 25th Anniversary season. Casting will include Elijah Alexander, Mara Davi, Carson Elrod, Joel de la Fuente, Mykal Kilgore, Alyse Alan Louis, Kate MacCluggage, Jeff McCarthy, Julia Murney, Jonathan Raviv, Debra Jo Rupp and more. Prospect Theater Company celebrated twenty years of bringing to life original musical theater works at their 2019 Gala at Manhattan Penthouse in New York on April 8.

Prospect Theater Company (Melissa Huber, Managing Director / Cara Reichel, Producing Artistic Director) is pleased to announce the cast for its upcoming workshop staging of American Morning, with book, music and lyrics by Timothy Huang, from May 8th through May 19th, 2019.

Michael Campayno (The Cher Show, Wicked), Quentin Earl Darrington (Once on This Island, CATS), and Ali Ewoldt (The Phantom of the Opera, The King and I) will lead 54 Sings Andrew Lloyd Webber on March 25, 2019 at 7:00 and 9:30 at Feinstein's/54 Below.

After playing Feinstein's/54 Below and The Duplex, 'Movies, Musicals, and Me: An Evening With Me, Halpert Evans' has found a temporary home. Beginning January 31st, the riotous cabaret spoof has been given a monthly slot at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in Hell's Kitchen.

On Monday, July 2nd, cast members from the recent Broadway Revival of Miss Saigon will take to the stage of Feinstein's/54 Below for a one-night-only event. 

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Devin Ilaw, Dorcas Leung, and Charlotte Maltby in 54 Sings 1776 on July 3 and July 4, 2018. The Fourth of July meets Broadway in the fifth annual concert staging of the beloved musical, 1776, at Feinstein's/54 Below. Showcase your patriotism with some of stage's brightest stars singing numbers such as "Sit Down, John," "He Plays The Violin," "Molasses To Rum," and more, as we celebrate the great sacrifices our friends, family, and founding fathers have made to shape our nation.

Dorcas Leung, currently touring the nation with HAMILTON as the standby for Angelica Schuyler, Eliza Hamilton, Peggy Schuyler/Maria Reynolds, is an Asian immigrant who grew up in Houston and went to elementary, middle, and high school in Spring Branch ISD. Making a triumphant return to the city that helped raise her in a one of the most popular musicals to ever grace the stages of the world, BroadwayWorld chatted with her about the true power of the show. 

The National Tour of HAMILTON is now at ASU Gammage in Tempe through February 25th. What more can be said about a production that, since its opening three years ago, has already received the ultimate in honors and plaudits and for which the best adjectives have already been used? Yes, awesome, glorious, uplifting! All of that and more! Outstanding performances all around. In its unique form as a history lesson, HAMILTON is a hymn to the revolutionary spirit and the insatiable desire to fulfill possibility.

Cameron Mackintosh's Tony nominated revival of Boublil and Sch nberg's legendary musical Miss Saigon played its final Broadway performance last night after 340 performances. Miss Saigon began previews on March 1st and opened on March 23rd. After the final curtain, the cast, creative team and crew celebrated at Dream Hotel. Check out the exclusive photos below.

Producer Jeffrey Seller is proud to announce that AUSTIN SCOTT and NICHOLAS CHRISTOPHER will join the First National Tour of HAMILTON as Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr, respectively. Mr. Scott's credits include the Off-Broadway cast of One Day. Mr. Christopher is currently playing John in the Broadway revival of Miss Saigon and played George Washington in HAMILTON on Broadway.
