Michael Campayno, Quentin Earl Darrington, and Ali Ewoldt Will Lead 54 SINGS ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER

Michael Campayno (The Cher Show, Wicked), Quentin Earl Darrington (Once on This Island, CATS), and Ali Ewoldt (The Phantom of the Opera, The King and I) will lead 54 Sings Andrew Lloyd Webber on March 25, 2019 at 7:00 and 9:30 at Feinstein's/54 Below.

Chances are, if you are a novice or an expert of theater, you have seen one of the many musicals crafted by Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award winner, Andrew Lloyd Webber. Since the 1960s, Andrew Lloyd Webber has added songs and stories to the musical theater lexicon that have changed the landscape of Broadway, the West End, and performance art indefinitely. With masterfully penned melodies and poignant adaptations, Webber's shows have become legends unto themselves.

In 54 Sings Andrew Lloyd Webber, performers from Broadway shows, touring companies, and beyond will unite to showcase some of the most beloved of this composer's hits (The Phantom of the Opera, Jesus Christ Superstar) alongside some of his lesser-known works (Starlight Express, Aspects of Love).

The cast also includes Zach Adkins (Anastasia), Olivia Chun (School of Rock), Tyler Conroy (Broadway Baes at Feinstein's/54 Below), Yurel Echezarreta (Moulin Rouge, Head Over Heels), Devin Ilaw (Miss Saigon, Les Misérables), Dorcas Leung (Hamilton National Tour, Miss Saigon), Grace Morgan (The Phantom of the Opera National Tour), Heath Saunders (Alice by Heart, NBC's "Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert"), Chiara Trentalange (The Royal Family of Broadway, In the Heights), and Ryan Vona (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Cirque du Soleil Paramour).

Virginia Pike (James Joyce's The Dead, Cutting Edge Composers) provides musical direction. Amy Sapp (54 Sings Heathers, Late Night Programming) produces and directs. Pike shares, "While much of today's musical theater music is driven by rhythm and beat, Andrew Lloyd Webber's music reminds us of the power of the soaring melody. It's written for rich, dexterous voices, so getting to work with so many wonderful singers on this material is a deeply satisfying musical experience for me."

Says Sapp, "Like many others, the shows of Andrew Lloyd Webber are what first introduced me to Broadway. I saw the National Tour of CATS when I was six years-old; I saw Starlight Express two days in a row during its U.S. National Tour. My hope is that, through a cast of current Broadway, touring, and professional players, a new generation of theatergoers will discover what makes the music of Webber so special to so many of us."
