Collaboraction Theatre Company is ringing in the New Year with the announcement of five new, heavy-hitter board members.

The Carroll County Arts Council will present a bold new stage production of '12 Angry Jurors' at the Carroll Arts Center on Saturday, January 28 at 2pm and 7pm and Sunday, January 29 at 2pm.

Purple Moon Drama is presenting The Wedding Speech at VAULT Festival this February, a poignant one-woman show highlighting the unpredictable nature of co-dependency amongst families.

The Everyman Theatre announced today that Tuyết Thị Phạm has joined the organization as Associate Artistic Director and member of The Resident Company of Artists. Everyman Theatre is one of only a handful of Regional Theatres that has a resident company of professional artists as part of its mission, and Phạm is only the second Associate Artistic Director who is also a member of the Resident Company as an actor.   

]The Latiné Musical Theatre Lab, a new organization that develops and advocates for new Latiné-written works of musical theatre in order to radically change who gets to tell musical stories on stages across the country, has welcomed ten new staff members to the organization, bringing the total part-time staff working to advance the mission of the Lab to fourteen.

​​​​​​​Steppenwolf Theatre Company today mourns the loss of longtime ensemble member, actor, director and adaptor Frank Galati, who died Monday evening in Florida at the age of 79. Galati, who joined the Steppenwolf ensemble in 1985, won two Tony Awards in 1990 for his adaptation and direction of Steppenwolf's pivotal production of The Grapes of Wrath on Broadway.
