The stars of Disney's 'Mary Poppins Returns' including Emily Blunt, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ben Whishaw, Emily Mortimer, Dick Van Dyke and director Ron Marshall attended the film's World Premiere at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood last night, November 29. In a new segment from Vanity Fair, Lin-Manuel Miranda sat down to teach everyone some Broadway slang.

The latest issue of Vanity Fair features a face very familiar to theatre-goers, and in just a matter a weeks, it will be familiar to movie-goers as well. Lin-Manuel Miranda stars as Jack in the upcoming Mary Poppins Returns, which hits theatres on December 19.

The songwriting team behind the upcoming film Mary Poppins Returns is coming to LA!

Orpheus Musical Theatre's production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang coincides with the 50th anniversary of the classic movie of the same name, starring Dick van Dyke. The movie itself was based upon a children's book authored by Ian Fleming of James Bond fame. Orpheus' starring role was given to the car, Chitty - a beautifully crafted stage prop unlike any I have ever seen in this calibre of production. Kudos to the props team - they really outdid themselves. Caractacus Potts, played by Paul Melsness, was outstanding. He has a wonderful singing voice and stage presence and his charisma was apparent through the show. The children, however, were the real superstars. Sophie Pierce and Aleksander Rohozinski, playing the roles of Jemima and Jeremy Potts, respectively, have a natural talent for performing. Pierce, in particular, approached her role with gusto and both kids gave their roles 110%. Andrea Black, in the role of Truly Scrumptious, paled in comparison. She appeared to have difficulty reaching higher notes - with the notable exception of the 'Doll on a Music Box' number, where she gave a performance that completely enraptured the audience.

Just in time for the holiday season, a special edition of "20/20" gives viewers an inside look at "Mary Poppins Returns," the sequel to the classic 1964 film starring Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke. In the special, ABC News' Chris Connelly sits down for the first prime-time television interviews with Emily Blunt and Lin-Manuel Miranda, stars of the sequel. They open up about both the responsibility and joy they feel about stepping into their characters and the iconic world of Mary Poppins, which hasn't been portrayed on the big screen in over 50 years. The hour also features an exclusive one-on-one conversation between Van Dyke and Miranda on "Mary Poppins Returns" and Van Dyke's excitement to share the Mary Poppins magic with a new generation. "Mary Poppins Returns: Behind the Magic - A Special Edition of 20/20" airs Thursday, Nov. 22 (8:00-9:00 p.m. EST), on ABC.
