The Joyce Theater Foundation will bring dance innovation informed by a West Coast urban edge to New York with the return of BODYTRAFFIC. The company’s peerless dancers, presenting a captivating program in a blend of styles, will play The Joyce Theater from March 1-6. 

This season, the show is based on The Dinah Shore Chevy Show (1956-1963) featuring the music of Dean Martin and a variety of guests including a few of Dean Martin's former Golddiggers.

The program features the technically brilliant, classical work Within the Golden Raga, choreographed by Kunal Ranchod; the contemporary work, infused with sultry Argentine tango, Cuatro Estaciones, choreographed by Ballet Kelowna’s own Artistic Director and CEO Simone Orlando; and the uplifting and joyful MAMBO, choreographed by Alysa Pires. 

Lisa Dawn Miller who manages the legacy song catalogue of legendary songwriter, Ron Miller (1932-2007) announced she has signed a new publishing agreement with Sony Music Publishing to administer her father's songs. The new deal expands upon a decades-long partnership between the Miller songs and Sony Music Publishing.

he Joyce Theater Foundation announced today the full lineup of U.S. and international talent that will grace The Joyce’s storied stage for its Spring/Summer 2022 season. Nearly two dozen companies and dance creators will bring their unparalleled creativity and astounding artistic innovation to the iconic, intimate home for dance in New York City.

Emerging from the elite Chicago music scene in Illinois, Award-Winning Neil Diamond tribute artist Denny Svehla began hitting the ground running in the music realm in 1999, and since that time has manifested into one of the most versatile and multifaceted tribute acts to hit the stage.

Suffolk Theater presents SAL THE VOICE on Friday and Saturday, February 4 and 5 at 8:00PM. Tickets are $69, plus applicable fees.

There have been lots of Sinatra type tribute shows over the years performed by many talented artists. However, the one that brings you the closest you will ever come to the man and his music was performed by Bob Anderson last night at Carnegie Hall.  

The Goo Goo Dolls have announced fifteen additional dates for their Summer 2022 North American tour. Set to kick off on July 15, 2022 at Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater in Nampa, ID, the tour will see the band performing at outdoor venues next summer, including newly-announced stops in Portland, OR, Santa Barbara, CA, Pittsburgh, PA and more.

Acclaimed jazz vocalist Amanda King and Las Vegas headliner Kelly Vohnn bring wonderment and warmth with family-friendly fun for the holidays in their show, A Very Vegas Christmas. The show will be streamed live and performed with an audience at the Summerlin Performing Arts Center Dec. 3-4.

Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and their families perform a holiday medley in their Christmas celebration filmed in 1967 that has not been seen in its entirety since its original airing on December 21, 1967. Legendary lyricist Sammy Cahn, singer-songwriter Melissa Manchester and composer-arranger Billy Strayhorn will be honored in an upcoming online event as the 2021 inductees to the Great American Songbook Hall of Fame.

The twelve-song LP marks a special version of the band’s first-ever Christmas record, featuring the brand new original track “One Last Song About Christmas” and a never-before-heard cover of “I’ve Got My Love To Keep Me Warm,” a holiday music staple that was made famous by Dean Martin. Most will bring an entire memory book of the “Good ol' Days” singing a tribute to his musical heroes, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Sammy Davis Jr. and Bobby Darin.  Audience members can reminisce about yesteryear with Donny, backed by a special “Hollywood-style” Hershey Symphony Orchestra playing the Great American Songbook and the music of “Happy Days.”  Audience masks are required during the concert.  

The 90-Minute special features new interviews with Nancy and Tina Sinatra and Gail and Deana Martin from Capitol Records Studio A. The special has not been seen in its entirety since its original airing on December 21, 1967.

The Western Connecticut State University Department of Theatre Arts will present 'Melancholy Play: a chamber musical' at the WCSU Visual and Performing Arts Center's Studio Theatre, 43 Lake Ave. Extension, Danbury, from Friday, Oct. 29, through Sunday, Nov. 7.
