Five years ago, Tony Award winner Idina Menzel made her long-awaited return to Broadway, teaming up with her Rent director Michael Grief for Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey's original musical If/Then! To celebrate the occasion, we're throwing it back to the show's opening night at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. Check out all the footage below!

As a part of the special concert series, Musical Mondays, Second Stage Theater has announced Adam Chanler-berat, Lawrence Clayton, Jennifer Damiano, Louis Hobson, Tamika Lawrence, Isaac Powell, Alice Ripley, Amy Spanger, J. Robert Spencer, Pearl Sun and Aaron Tveit will perform Next To Normal: A Concert Celebration.

On Monday, March 18, DGF hosted a Salon at the Lambs Club where they presented actress Judith Light and playwright Tony Kushner with the DGF Madge Evans & Sidney Kingsley Awards. Former DGF Fellow, Oliver Houser, was also presented with the inaugural DGF Stephen Schwartz Award. The evening featured performances by Michael R. Jackson, James Jackson Jr., Sean Patrick Cameron, and Oliver Houser, and remarks by Jordan Roth, Jon Robin Baitz, and Stephen Schwartz.

Beginning performances Tuesday, April 9, Ginna Claire Mason will assume the role of Glinda in the Broadway production of WICKED.

The Broadway sensation WICKED flew out of the Eccles Theater on Sunday, March 3rd after a 41-performance return engagement in Salt Lake City, presented by Broadway at the Eccles/Broadway Across America.  WICKED's fourth play in Salt Lake City grossed over $12 million in sales and was seen by over 100,000 patrons.

Actress Judith Light and playwright Tony Kushner are set to receive DGF Madge Evans & Sidney Kingsley Awards. Former DGF Fellow, Oliver Houser, also announced as recipient of the DGF Stephen Schwartz Award.

A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of seats will be held for WICKED, which is returning to the Morrison Center with performances from March 6 - March 17, 2019.

Fountain Hills Theater announces the second production in their 2018-19 season-their 17th season as a full-time youth theater-"The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee," February 15-March 3, 2019. 

The Broadway sensation WICKED will welcome new cast members to the National Tour beginning performances Tuesday, February 26 at the Eccles Theater in Salt Lake City.

T. Fellowship, in association with Columbia University School of the Arts, announces the next T. Fellow is Rachel Sussman, the seventh fellow in the one year program designed to educate and empower new creative producers. The fellow will receive a stipend of $10,000 with a $20,000 budget for the development of a new theatrical production, and will have access to courses in Columbia's MFA Theatre Management & Producing Program.

The Broadway Green Alliance and the Broadway League have announced that Disney Theatrical Productions is the recipient of the 2019 Green Broadway Award which was presented at the Broadway League's Biennial Conference in Orlando, Florida. The Green Broadway Award honors an individual, show or organization for outstanding achievement in making Broadway more environmentally friendly.
