On September 14th (at 7pm) at the Sheen Center (18 Bleecker Street) there will be a reading of “It Fell Off a Truck”, a full-length comedy by veteran PR man Jules Feiler, loosely based on the life of his own father. The piece centers on the relationship between the “tough guy” father (David Proval) his son, (Johnny Tammaro) and the daughter-in-law (Joli Tribuzio). It's a father and son reunion that after 20 years no one would mistake for a happy one.

Giant Pictures has acquired the US rights for Bruno de Almeida's new movie, Cabaret Maxime, starring Michael Imperioli. It will open theatrically at the Metrograph in NYC on February 21st, ahead of a national, multi-platform rollout on March 3rd.

Indie Rights will release the film domestically on digital platforms beginning on August 24th. Prior to the theatrical run and digital release, there will be a red-carpet premiere on August 23 at the Music Hall Theater in Beverly Hills that will also be an invitation-only fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Association's LA Walk on November 3rd.
