Why Is We Americans? is set to be released on DVD and for digital purchase on April 12th for $24.95. The movie is executive produced by Ms. Lauryn Hill and Oscar®-nominated writer and filmmaker, Oren Moverman (The Messenger). This 2022 theatrical release arrives on DVD loaded with extras, including Q&A’s, deleted scenes, and more. The movie originally opened on January 14th at the IFC Center in NYC. The national tour of THE BAND’S VISIT has landed in Los Angeles at the Dolby Theatre. The opening night audience gave the all-round talented cast a most deserved standing ovation. Welcome to Bea's NYCC Speed Interview Series! As I attended New York Comic Con 2021 (October 7-10, 2021), I did a series of short interviews with influential creators. For issue #5, here's a speed interview with artist Tim Doyle of Nakatomi, Inc. Nakatomi, Inc, established in 2009, is a 'a full-service Silkscreen print shop, and Music/Pop art collective'. His past clients include Marvel, Dark Horse, Cartoon Network, Studio Canal, Metallica, Failure, 'Weird Al' Yankovic, Kings of Leon, and George Strait.
A dark and droll opera thriller performed by a star cast from the Royal Danish Opera Soloist Ensemble accompanied by acclaimed special guests. The music ranges from Wagner and Mozart to Cher and Queen. The amazing costumes are designed by Henrik Vibskov.
Along with CPF, SummerStage founder Joe Killian is nominated as the Executive Producer of the film with Director Jake McAfee and Producer Jonathan Olson. Killian created SummerStage 35 years ago and is a music and entertainment powerhouse, a two-time Emmy award winner (both as Executive Producer).
