Nominations were announced for the 2025 Sydney Theatre Awards, which will be presented at an industry gala ceremony on Monday 19 January 2026 at the York Theatre, Seymour Centre.

Phar Lap: The Electro-Swing Musical will have its world premiere at Hayes Theatre Co from October 17–November 22, 2025. Starring Joel Granger as the beloved racehorse, the show blends absurdist comedy, an electro-swing score, and a heartfelt underdog story.
