Executive-Producer Armand Hyatt today announced that two Emmy-nominated and beloved soap stars are joining the cast of Off-Broadway's longest running play, PERFECT CRIME this month, celebrating the record-breaking murder mystery as it enters its historic 33rd year of performances. Both Robert Newman and Grant Aleksander of GUIDING LIGHT fame will be taking on the role of Detective James Ascher in the classic whodunit that continues its run in the Anne L. Bernstein Theater at The Theater Center. Mr. Newman will perform in the role now through May 8th and May 24th - June 16th and Mr. Aleksander will perform in the role May 10th - May 22nd and June 17th - June 30th. For one weekend only in March, an all-star ensemble of singers and rock musicians are joining forces to present Andrew Lloyd Webber's 70's rock-infused retelling of Jesus Christ's final week. Alpine Theatre Project will present Jesus Christ Superstar March 8 - 10 at the Whitefish Performing Arts Center in downtown Whitefish.

Emmy Nominated actor Grant Aleksander, best known for his role as Philip Spaulding on Guiding Light is replacing two other daytime drama legends Robert Newman (Guiding Light) and Richard Shoberg (All My Children), in Off Broadway's longest running play, Perfect Crime. Mr. Aleksander is returning to the role of Detective Asher (a role he took on this past Summer) and begins performances tonight, January 14, 2019, for two weeks only - through January 28.

PERFECT CRIME, the Off-Broadway 'whodunit' that just recently celebrated 31 years and 13,000 performances has announced that Dan Sharkey has joined the cast, as Lional, replacing Patrick Noonan in the role. The smart, funny and fast-paced thriller at the Anne L. Bernstein Theater in The Theater Center in Times Square (1627 Broadway) is the longest running play in NYC history and first opened in 1987 and its leading lady Catherine Russell has performed in all 13,000 performances - earning her a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records!

Playwright Tom Jones is making some changes to his 57-year-old musical THE FANTASTICKS. Mr. Jones has done a little bit of rewriting of the musical number "Round and Round" which he has always felt never quite conveyed the darker elements he intended.

Off Broadway's longest running musical, The Fantasticks will celebrate its 57th Anniversary on Wednesday, May 3rd at 7PM.

 Producers of Off-Broadway's THE FANTASTICKS have announced that the long runningmusical will close on June 4, 2017   - in its the 57th year. The production originally opened in 1960.
