The 92Y TALKS presented an evening with the stars and director of the new Broadway musical The Bridges of Madison County prior to it's opening on Broadway. A talk with 'Bridges' Four-Time Tony Award-nominee Kelli O'Hara, Steven Pasquale, and Tony Award-Winning director Bartlett Sher was moderated by Tony Award winning composer/lyricist Adam Guettel in the 92Y's Buttenwieser Hall. A preliminary peek behind the scenes at the first day of rehearsals for the new Broadway musical THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY by Jason Robert Brown and Marsha Norman based on the novel by Robert James Waller is now available to view, featuring show stars Kelli O'Hara and Steven Pasquale as well as Brown and more.

Producers Jeffrey Richards, Stacey Mindich, and Jerry Frankel just announced the complete cast of The Bridges of Madison County, which begins previews on Friday, January 17, 2014 and opens on Thursday, February 20, 2014, at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street). Rehearsals for the new Broadway musical will begin today, Monday, December 9, 2013.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.

THE FANTASTICKS, the world's longest running musical, will celebrate a record breaking 20,000th New York performance, on Sunday, September 15, 2013, announced producers Catherine Russell and Al Parinello. The milestone will mark the first time a production (on Broadway or off-Broadway) has ever reached 20,000 performances and will be commemorated in a month long celebration that includes performing at Broadway in Bryant Park and Little Italy, and with The Museum of The City of New York's future cyber gallery highlighting the history of the production.

THE FANTASTICKS, the world's longest running musical, will celebrate its 54th anniversary today, May 3, just as producers Al Parinello and Catherine Russell announce plans for a major celebration when the musical performs its record breaking 20,000th performance, on September 15, 2013.

Triple platinum recording artist Aaron Carter will be performing his final week as Matt in The Fantasticks. His last performance will be on Sunday Feb. 17, 2013 at 7:30 PM. Carter is leaving the production to do a national tour.

George Dvorsky, who most recently starred in the critically acclaimed revival of CLOSER THAN EVER at the York Theater has joined the cast of The Fantasticks in the role of the narrator El Gallo, as of yesterday, January 21. He replaces actor Richard Roland.

Robert Petkoff is joining Broadway & film star Robby Benson and Tony nominee Josh Young in the upcoming special invitational presentation of selections from the original new musical AMAZING GRACE, with music & lyrics by Christopher Smithand book by Mr. Smith & Arthur Giron, today, December 11th and December 12th at Lincoln Center's Clark Studio Theater.
