This summer season, Alpine Theater Project (ATP) brings Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness to the Whitefish Performing Arts Center July 13th, 14th, 15th/ 20th, 21st, 22nd/ and 27th, 28th, 29th.

Directed by Betsi Morrison with choreography by Brian J. Marcum, N'Kenge is joined by an All-star cast that includes: Amelia Cormack, Nyssa Duchow, Mike Eldred, DeWitt Fleming, Jr., Eric Michael Krop, Erin N. Moore, Halladay Quist, Soara-Joye Ross, Dan Sharkey, Rebecca Spear, Becky Stout and Luke Walrath.

This summer, N'Kenge will perform with ATP presenting a trilogy of original shows celebrating the common threads that unite us all. N'Kenge will be performing brilliantly arranged renditions of hit songs such as The Impossible Dream, Greatest Love of All and selections from Broadway's Smash shows "Hamilton", "Motown" and more. Legend Berry Gordy calls N'Kenge "The most versatile Artist I know" and Joe Berger from LBTV Music describes N'Kenge as " An Artist who's destined to make a serious impact on several musical fronts. From operatic to spiritual, from pop to musical theater, from jazz to blues, tender or intense, N'Kenge's performances are consistent in their technical excellence. Her musical repertoire covers 11 languages and her power and control are uncanny."

Known for originating the role of Mary Wells in Broadway's Smash Hit Motown, N'Kenge graduated from both the prestigious Juilliard School and Manhattan School of Music. She made her Carnegie Hall debut with the New York Pops Orchestra where NY Times called her "a classically trained diva that can stretch from Broadway, Pop Soul to Opera." Nominated for a Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Leading Actress in 3 Mo'Divas, N'Kenge made her West End, London debut starring in The Genius of Ray Charles. She has also performed alongside jazz greats such as Wynton Marsalis and Ornette Coleman at Lincoln Center and has been a Principal Artist at New York City Opera to name a few. N'Kenge recently starred in the title role in a industry reading of DOROTHY. A new musical inspired by the life and music of Legendary Singer/Actress/Dancer Dorothy Dandridge. The first African-American nominated for an Academy Award in the category of "Best Leading Actress" in a major Motion Picture for Carmen Jones.

N'Kenge will debut her LEGENDS show featuring music from Puccini to Proud Mary with Jacksonville Symphony this 2017/2018 season. She will also be a soloist with Philadelphia Symphony, Utah Symphony and Cleveland Symphony among others. For more news and concert/tour dates, visit N'Kenge at www.nkengemusic.com
