In 2010, Erinn Dearth founded Letters From Home in Winston-Salem, NC, a singing and tap dancing USO-style show with a mission to honor veterans, active military heroes and their families by reviving patriotism through music.

Letters From Home, the tap-dancing joke-cracking USO-inspired duo made up of founder Erinn Dearth and self-proclaimed 'tall guy' Dan Beckmann are now in preparation for a digital Veterans Day concert.

After a successful June of in-person camps, Spring Theatre's team will offer additional safe arts opportunities for aspiring theatrical artisit during the month of July!

Lock-In, a feature-length independent comedy film shot at a social distance during COVID-19 as a part of Spring Theatre's Digital Performance Project, premiered one month ago on the theatre's YouTube page. The film was written and directed by Dan Beckmann, Spring Theatre Artistic Director, and Erinn Dearth, Spring Theatre Executive Director, with an original score by David Lane.

Since COVID-19 shut down their live performances across the country, Letters From Home has been hosting a series of digital concerts for their audiences to enjoy from the comfort of their own homes, and this 4th of July they've taken on a show that will not disappoint.

The creative entity known as 'riley.' -- a duo comprised of Dan Beckmann & Erinn Dearth -- will be executing a 24 hour non-stop livestream in order to raise funds and awareness for organizations that support the growth of the human race.

Due to current COVID-19 restrictions mandated by Governor Roy Cooper, Spring Theatre is unable to continue with its previously scheduled production of Footloose. The company is still planning to hold its summer camps.

Spring Theatre will premiere 'Lock-In', an ambitious project that started in North Carolina as the response to the first show of their season being shut down by COVID-19.

In an attempt to produce something creative while the world temporarily adapted to no audiences for live theatre, Spring Theatre, based out of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, created the Digital Performance Project-a fully-online, socially-distanced performance series as a way to fuel the creative spirit of the entire Triad... and beyond.

Friends in Theater Company and State of Play Productions' THE SECRET GARDEN, a Broadway benefit for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, presented the first of two sold-out performances last night, January 11, at 7:30 p.m. at theLucille Lortel Theater. The fully staged production, directed/choreographed by Curtis Holbrook, was led by Rebecca Luker as Lily, Gabriella Pizzolo as Mary, and Bradley Dean as Archie with Tom Deckman, Ali Ewoldt, Frances Mercanti-Anthony, Bill Nolte, Eli Tokash, Max von Essen, and Cortney Wolfson. BroadwayWorld has just gotten word that Friends in Theater Company and State of Play Productions' THE SECRET GARDEN, a Broadway benefit for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, has sold out both of its performances later this month. Donations are still being accepted via Friends in Theater's website.

Tony-winning musical directed and choreographed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge should not be missed.
