 Situation Project, a nonprofit aimed at empowering NYC public school students through arts, cultural, and community experiences, was announced as a finalist in the esteemed Anthem Awards on December 5th, 2023.

This spring, Tisch Drama is teaming up with the innovative marketing agency Situation to introduce an exciting new Lab course: From Storytelling to Story Selling: Live Experience Marketing.

​​​​​​​Situation Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting students in underserved communities in New York City and providing them with opportunities to experience the best of Broadway and live entertainment since 2011, has announced Samara Berger as a newly appointed Director of Impact.

The previously announced adaptation of TEG+’s Harold and the Purple Crayon has found its book writers in Dan Rothenberg (co-artistic director of Pig Iron Theatre Company) and Robert Quillen Camp (White on White).

Today, we talk to Senior Creative Group Director Stephanie Sciandra Smith who leads the agency's creative and content, helping to connect Broadway shows with their global fan bases for success on both Broadway and beyond. 

First up - Peter Yagecic, Executive Director of Technical Projects who during the pandemic was in charge of all virtual and streaming events and leads the companies' drive into new frontiers like the Metaverse and beyond.

The company has promoted Lisa Cecchini and Jeremy Kraus to Managing Partners. Stephanie Sciandra Smith, Senior Creative Group Director, will oversee the agency's evolving multi-platform creative strategy. They will be joined by Managing Director Leslie Barrett.

When TEDxBroadway marks its 10th annual milestone on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at New World Stages in New York City and a global livestream on Stellar, the audience will include young professionals to weigh in on the future of Broadway. TEDxBroadway TEN will be brimming with new speakers, new ideas, and new members of the Young Professionals Program.

Dress Circle Publishing has announced the release of THE UNTOLD STORIES OF BROADWAY, VOLUME 4, the latest in a series by historian and producer Jennifer Ashley Tepper. The book will be available on Tuesday, March 9 to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the 2020-2021 Broadway shutdown.
