BEAUTIFUL is embarking on a UK tour and Daisy Wood-Davis is Carole King! Watch below as she belts out a Carole classic, 'Natural Woman.'

Long before she was Carole King, chart-topping music legend, she was Carol Klein, Brooklyn girl with passion and chutzpah. She fought her way into the record business as a teenager and, by the time she reached her 20s, had the husband of her dreams and a flourishing career writing hits for the biggest acts in rock 'n' roll. But it wasn't until her personal life began to crack that she finally managed to find her true voice. The Tony and Grammy Award-winning Broadway hit Beautifula?"The Carole King Musical, about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter, will make its Coachella Valley premiere at the McCallum Theatre for five shows on Friday, Feb. 7, through Sunday, Feb. 9.

Today is truly one fine day because it is the sixth anniversary of the hit musical Beautiful opening at Broadway's Stephen Sondheim Theatre! In honor of the occasion, we're looking back at the cast and creative team feeling the earth move on the show's opening night! As BEAUTIFUL embarks on its UK tour BroadwayWorld UK reporter Jamie Body went along to a special rehearsal to speak to some of the cast.

Following a highly successful run at the King's Theatre in Glasgow in February 2018, the Olivier, Tony and Grammy award-winning BEAUTIFUL - THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL will return to the city next year.

It was announced earlier this year that, following a highly successful West End run/a run of two and a half years in the West End and a sell-out tour in 2017/18, BEAUTIFUL - THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL will hit the road again and tour throughout the UK and Ireland in 2020, opening at the Churchill Theatre Bromley on 11 January. The tour has just found its Carole! Daisy Wood-Davis will be taking on the role.

The earth is still moving at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre, but only until October 27, 2019. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the musical, based on life of recording superstar Carole King, will conclude its record-breaking Broadway run in just over a month.

While the Earth didn't exactly move during the national tour stop of BEAUTIFUL at the Hanover Theater in Worcester this week, this more successful than most biographical jukebox musical did set off an occasional temblor. No surprise, those moments came when the show's legendary subject, Carole King, was channeled by her doppelganger Kennedy Caughell alone at the piano.

Also, due to popular demand a fifth show has been added for Sunday, November 10 at 7pm.
