MCC Theater announced today the extension of the run of the encore production of the critically acclaimed, award-winning play School Girls; Or, the African Mean Girls Play, written by 2017-2018 Tow Playwright-in-Residence, Jocelyn Bioh, and directed by Tony Winner Rebecca Taichman. The encore production opened at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street) on October 22nd and was set to end performances on November 25th. Due to popular demand, the production will now play through December 9, 2018.
The Cher Show has announced it will hold a digital lottery! A limited quantity of $30 tickets will be available to each performance via a digital lottery, powered by Broadway Direct, by visiting https://lottery.broadwaydirect.com/show/cher/. The digital lottery will open at 8:00AM EST on Thursday, November 1 for tickets to that evening's performance. Once On This Island announced today that the Grammy Award-winning artist and Destiny's Child singer Michelle T. Williams will return to Broadway as Erzulie in the Tony Award winning Best Revival starting Friday, November 30. Michelle T. Williams will play the role through Sunday, June 2, 2019.

Nicola and Managing Director Jeremy Blocker) announced today a one-week extension for the New York Premiere of The House That Will Not Stand by Marcus Gardley (X: Or, Betty Shabazz v. The Nation), directed by NYTW Usual Suspect and Obie Award winner Lileana Blain-Cruz (Red Speedo; Pipeline). The House That Will Not Stand began previews on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, and opened Monday, July 30 at New York Theatre Workshop (79 E. 4th Street New York, NY 10003). Originally set to close on Sunday, August 12, The House That Will Not Stand will now run through Sunday, August 19, 2018.
