There is nothing that sends my theatre-loving heart into full jazz hands mode quite like watching young performers step into the spotlight and belt their way toward Broadway dreams, and the 2026 Broadway Bound Awards, presented by Celebrity Attractions in partnership with Stage 13, was an absolutely dazzling reminder that the future of musical theatre in Arkansas is sparkling brighter than the marquee lights on Broadway Theatre.

It was so fetch getting to see MEAN GIRLS with Stage 13 at Wildwood Park for the Arts in Little Rock Thursday night, January 22, and thankfully I did, because snowmageddon has hit and canceled the remaining weekend. Lucky for you losers, they have moved the weekend shows to Wednesday, January 28, so if you already bought tickets, they were automatically moved for you, and you do not want to miss this show!

Cast and Dates Announced for 2021 National Tour of A CHRISTMAS STORY, THE MUSICAL

Returning for the 2021 holiday season, Big League Productions, Inc. has announced the tour dates and cast of the critically acclaimed national tour of A Christmas Story, The Musical. The tour will open for preview performances in Waterbury, CT, followed by a two-week sit down in Boston, and engagements in Baltimore and Durham, NC.

Local Youth Take The Rep MainStage In WILLY WONKA, JR.

A local cast of 39 young actors will present Willy Wonka Jr. on the MainStage at Arkansas Repertory Theatre this summer. The production, which runs June 21-30, is based on the classic tale by Roald Dahl, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
