Prospect Theater Company has announced the performers who will be appearing in its 2022 Musical Theater Lab Concert presentation: Caption This. Thirty actors from Broadway and beyond will bring their talents to the stage to celebrate the hot-off-the-presses new works generated in this year's lab process.

Gingold Theatrical Group is presenting SPEAKER'S CORNER Writers Group. This season, writers Aeneas Sagar Hemphill, Divya Mangwani, Marcus Scott and Mallory Jane Weiss are developing works in response to prompts from the revolutionary activist humanitarian writings and precepts of George Bernard Shaw.

This unique event invited audience members to walk through the Crabapple Grove in Riverside Park guided by an ensemble of artists, and choose from a selection of original flash-fiction short stories penned by 15 theater writers.

Amas Musical Theatre (Donna Trinkoff, Artistic Producer) in celebration of its 50th season, will present Bridges:A New Musical, with book & lyrics by Cheryl L. Davis and music by Douglas J. Cohen, the first of four new musicals in development included in this year's "Dare to Be Different" series. Prospect Theater Company, under the leadership of Producing Artistic Director Cara Reichel and Managing Director Melissa Huber, will present MONUMENT, a collection of new mini-musicals in concert, the culmination of Prospect's 2018 Musical Theater Lab. MONUMENT, the company's 12th lab performance, will be presented on February 3, 2018 at 8pm at The TimesCenter (242 West 41st, NYC).
