THE VOICE's Wendy Moten to Perform at Birdland Jazz Club

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present Nashville vocalist Wendy Moten – best known for her 2021 run on NBC’s “The Voice” – in a special concert on Monday, May 16 at 7:00 PM. Her show will include songwriter Richard Whiting hits including “He’s Funny That Way,” “My Ideal,” “Miss Brown,” and “Too Marvelous For Words.”

COST OF LIVING Will Make its Broadway Premiere This Fall

Manhattan Theatre Club has announced a new Broadway production, Cost of Living, for its upcoming 2022-2023 season at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street), as well as three off-Broadway productions for MTC at New York City Center – Stage I and The Studio at Stage II (131 West 55th Street).

Brittney Mack, Tracee Beazer, Evan Tyrone Martin & More To Lead THE COLOR PURPLE at The Muny

The Muny announced today that Brittney Mack, Nasia Thomas, Evan Tyrone Martin, Tracee Beazer, Gilbert Domally and Nicole Michelle Haskins will star in the moving and affirming tale,The Color Purple, August 12-18, 2022. The Muny and Regional Premiere is directed by Lili-Anne Brown, choreographed by Breon Arzell, with music direction by Jermaine Hill.

Cast Announced For Untitled Zack Zadek-Penned Musical Concert, Directed By Sammi Cannold

Indiana's Discovering Broadway Inc. has revealed cast and creative team for its previously announced writers retreat for an untitled in-development musical with a book, music, and lyrics by Zack Zadek. The retreat is set for May 12-23, with a culminating concert of the material planned for May 21 at The Cabaret in Indianapolis.

American Premiere of GOLDEN SHIELD Begins Previews Tonight at MTC

Manhattan Theatre Club’s American premiere of Golden Shield, written by Anchuli Felicia King (White Pearl) and directed by May Adrales (Vietgone at MTC), begins performances tonight at New York City Center – Stage I (131 West 55th Street). Opening night is Tuesday, May 17.

CMA Fest Reveals Lineup For Nighttime Concerts At Ascend Amphitheater

Night one is sure to bring the party with Chris Janson as headliner on Friday. Joining Janson will be Boy Named Banjo, LANCO, Peytan Porter and Mitchell Tenpenny. Shy Carter hosts the evening headlined by Cole Swindell, with performances from Ingrid Andress, Tyler Braden, Carter and Randall King.
