New Village Arts' upcoming production of RENT will run at the Dea Hurston New Village Arts Center in Carlsbad Village from October 31 through December 24.

Rebel Wilson will star, write, produce, and direct the comedy film Girl Group, which follows the ousted leader of a popular girl group. Christopher Scott is set as the choreographer.
