Disney's ZOMBIES Gets Even Livelier In L+7 Nielson Ratings, Digital Viewing, and Billboard Music Chart Rankings

The power of a music-driven story, an integral part of Disney Channel's connection to kid and tween viewers, continues to bear out with 'ZOMBIES,' the #1 cable telecast among Kids 6-11, Kids 6-14, Tweens 9-14 and Girls 6-11 in seven months, since the premiere of 'Descendants 2' (July 21, 2017). Among all kids cable TV networks, it is the highest rated telecast in Total Viewers (four million), since the debut of 'Raven's Home' (July 21, 2017), according to newly available L+7 data. Through its first 10 telecasts, 'ZOMBIES' reached 12.8 million Total Viewers, including 4.0 million Kids 6-11. In other metrics, 'ZOMBIES' is Disney Channel's #1 Video-On-Demand property and has been #1 in the DisneyNOW app since its Feb. 16 premiere.

Casting is set for the Playwrights' Arena production of "Bloodletting," which Center Theatre Group" is remounting at the Kirk Douglas Theatre as part of the second annual Block Party: Celebrating Los Angeles Theatre. Written by Boni B. Alvarez and directed by Playwrights' Arena Artistic Director Jon Lawrence Rivera, "Bloodletting" will begin previews March 29, open March 31 and close April 8.

'One Drop,' a family drama with music by Andrea J. Fulton, brings to life the politics of a young mixed-race man's 'passing' for white in post-Civil War Louisiana, illustrating the risks taken by those not afraid to love despite bigotry. The piece, inspired by the playwright's actual family history, tells the story of a family torn apart by racism but ultimately reunited. It debuted in Theater for the New City's Dream Up Festival in 2010. TNC will present a revival of the play, directed by Sabura Rashid, from February 1 to 18 in honor of Black History Month.

Ms. Fulton first presented TWO TRAINS RUNNING in the summer of 2016 as a free community offering to 40-seat audiences in Bed-Stuy's Fulton and Von King Parks as part of 'August in August,' an arts initiative created by the Fulton Foundation in partnership with Joseph Grant, Jr., the Arts and Cultural Ambassador of Councilman Robert E.
