In honor of October 3, known as Mean Girls Day, Paramount has released the complete Tina Fey comedy in full on TikTok. Fey co-wrote and starred in the original film, alongside Lohan, Bennett, Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried, Lacey Chabert, Lizzy Caplan, and Amy Poehler. Mahi Alam and Connor Ratliff have joined the cast of the upcoming movie musical adaptation of Mean Girls. Alam will play Mathlete Kevin G., who befriends Cady (Angourie Rice) while having a crush on her friend Janis (Auli’i Cravalho). She joins the previously announced Tina Fey, Tim Meadows, Angourie Rice, Auli'i Cravalho, Jaquel Spivey, Avantika, Bebe Wood, Christopher Briney, and Reneé Rapp reprising her Broadway role as Regina George.
Amanda Seyfried has revealed that she and the four stars of the original Mean Girls movie, Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, and Lacey Chabert, are 'dead set' on appearing in the sequel.
