Netflix announces the cast for original series 'Away' starring Hilary Swank and Josh Charles. Away centers on Emma Green, an American astronaut who must leave her husband and teenage daughter behind to command an international space crew embarking upon a treacherous mission. It is a series about hope, humanity and how we need one another if we are to achieve impossible things.

Josh Charles to Co-Star in Netflix Series AWAY

Josh Charles (The Good Wife) is set to star as Matt Logan (joining co-star Hilary Swank), a NASA engineer whose wife is commanding the first mission to Mars. He faces the already enormous challenges of dealing with the mission from home, while trying to raise their teenage daughter on his own, but when he goes through a life-altering experience in the first episode he will understand the true cost of what it means to be away from each other.

Martha Plimpton Withdraws from Steppenwolf Ensemble

Steppenwolf's Ensemble is one of the most prestigious gatherings of names in theatre including stars such as Annette Bening, Laurie Metcalf and Tracy Letts. One among them also includes star of stage and screen Martha Plimpton, up until recently. According to the Chicago Tribune, Plimpton has withdrawn from the Ensemble.

Alistair McDowall's POMONA to Play Steep This Summer

Steep Ensemble Member Robin Witt will close out the company's 18th season with Alistair McDowall's Pomona. McDowall was the playwright behind Steep's 2015 hit Brilliant Adventures, which marked his U.S debut and was also directed by Witt. His work has been produced extensively, including productions at the Royal Court, the National Theatre, and the Royal Exchange. McDowall is a Bruntwood Prize winner and recipient of the 2018 Pinter Commission from the Royal Court. Robin Witt is a longtime director at Steep whose work includes the 2018 hit Linda and Cordelia Lynn's Lela & Co, which won 2018 Jeff Awards for Director, Production, and Performer in a Principal Role.

FOU Names Jin Kim Associate Artistic Director Of Batsu! Chicago

Face Off Unlimited, the creators of BATSU!, are known for finding and cultivating extraordinary talent and when BATSU! opened in Chicago in 2016, they awarded the critical role of Host to Chicagoland actor and veteran improviser, Jin Kim.
