Tickets are now available for Desert Ensemble Theatre's (DET) annual benefit gala, Singing with the Desert Stars IV at the Palm Springs Cultural Center next month.

This summer, The Roost Lounge introduces a bold new addition to its entertainment lineup: The Roost Revue, a cabaret series curated and hosted by acclaimed local performer Jason Mannino. Blending song, story, and spark, The Roost Revue will showcase stellar talent from across the Coachella Valley and beyond in an intimate, dynamic setting.

The Palm Springs Cultural Center is introducing a new live performance series this summer, blending classic cabaret sensibilities with a modern desert twist. Cabaret A La Carte takes place Friday evenings in Theatre 2, the Cultural Center’s newly renovated and intimate black box performance space. Each show begins at 7:30 PM and features a different artist, offering a fresh experience weekly across a five-week span.

Desert Ensemble Theater (DET) has announced Celebrity Star Contestants and Star Coaches for the second annual Singing With the Desert Stars, the company’s gala benefit on Friday, October 6, 2023 at the Palm Springs Cultural Center.

Performer, teacher, and choreographer Alan Onickel will be making his Green Room 42 debut in That Instant. Beginning in South Africa with a life-altering near-fatal car crash, this autobiographical show follows Alan from his visit to 'Coma Land' through multiple surgeries, therapies, doctors, pharmaceuticals, recuperation and finally his return to New York City. Music composed by the incomparable Drama Desk and Helen Hayes award winner Ed Dixon and played by gifted Musical Director Chip Prince. Everyone deals with obstacles in life. That Instant tells of Alan Onickel's unpredictable journey surviving those hurdles.
