For the second night in a row, the cast of LITTLE ROCK were paid a visit by a special guest. Last night (September 5) GINA BELAFONTE, actress/producer (BLACKKKLANSMEN) and daughter of actor and civil rights activist HARRY BELAFONTE took in the show and met with the cast after the performance. The "Little Rock Nine" made history when on the first day of school, September 4, 1957, they were barred from attending Little Rock Central High School in Little Rock, AR. Sixty one years later (September 4, 2018), former Governor and First Lady of Arkansas - President Clinton and Secretary Clinton - attended a performance of "Little Rock."
The Off-Broadway play LITTLE ROCK hosted a special guest at last night's performance. Chelsea Clinton attended with three friends, two of whom attended Little Rock Central High School, the same school where the 'Little Rock Nine' were integrated in 1957. She led the standing ovation at the end of the show and greeted the cast and crew on stage following the performance. LITTLE ROCK continues performances through September 8.
