BBC Four to Premiere CHARLEY PRIDE: I'M JUST ME

Charley Pride: I'm Just Me will make its BBC network premiere Friday, July 5 at 9:30 p.m. BST on BBC4. The program will also be available to view on BBC iplayer for 30 days after its broadcast on BBC Four.

RFD-TV began airing reruns of Hee Haw in September 2008 and remains one of the most watched programs on the network. Now in 2019, eleven years later, Hee Haw is celebrating its 50-year anniversary since its first-run on CBS in 1969. In celebration, RFD-TV will broadcast a live two-hour special on Thursday, January 31st at 10pm ET / 9pm CT that will include the Kornfield Friends – Jana Jae, Misty Rowe, Lulu Roman, and Buck Trent – along with additional cast members Victoria Hallman, Irlene Mandrell, Diana Goodman-McDaniel and members of The Nashville Edition. This February, for Black History Month, American Masters profiles two iconic performers who broke new ground in entertainment as the Civil Rights movement gathered momentum in America: Sammy Davis, Jr., and Charley Pride. American Masters – Sammy Davis, Jr.: I've Gotta Be Me, the first major film documentary to examine the performer's vast career and journey for identity through the shifting tides of civil rights and racial progress during 20th-century America, premieres nationwide Tuesday, February 19 at 9:00 p.m. ET on PBS (check local listings) and is available on DVD the same day through PBS Distribution. The PBS broadcast also features 20 minutes of exclusive bonus performance footage spanning Davis' 50-year career after the documentary. American Masters – Charley Pride: I'm Just Me premieres nationwide Friday, February 22 at 9:00 p.m. ET on PBS (check local listings). This honor came as a total surprise to Tim as Dave Heath, president of the organization, interrupted him between songs and made the formal announcement.

Pride was inducted into the Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience Hall of Fame class of 2018, on August 25th in Meridian, Mississippi, along with four other recipients; singer-songwriter Jimmy Buffett, Photographer William Eggleston, Writer and editor Willie Morris, and Blues musician Howlin' Wolf. Pride also received a 'Walk of Fame' star as part of the ceremony.
