Thrills and chills have arrived a bit early this season in Ogunquit, Maine. That's because the ultimate thriller, Dan Brown's bestselling mystery novel The Da Vinci Code, is being presented for the first time onstage in the US at Ogunquit Playhouse. In celebration of 90 years of Theatre By The Sea, owner and producer Bill Hanney have announced a Big Barn Bash featuring TBTS alumni, which will take place at the historic barn theatre on Monday, August 21, 2023.

LAGUNA PLAYHOUSE has announced six special productions this summer.

JoBeth Williams (“Poltergeist,” “The Big Chill”) and Peter Strauss (“Rich Man, Poor Man,” “The Jericho Mile”) star in the romantic Love Among the Ruins, written by James G. Hirsch and Robert A. Papazian, from a film script by James Costigan. Love Among the Ruins is a Papazian Hirsch presentation  and is directed by Michael Arabian.

North Coast Repertory Theatre’s Artistic Director David Ellenstein, and Managing Director Bill Kerlin, have been named Laguna Playhouse’s new Artistic and Managing Directors respectively, effective immediately.

Laguna Playhouse announced, in association with Gare St. Lazare, Ireland and the Rubicon Theatre Company, Faline England, Sorcha Fox, Conor Lovett and Joe Spano starring in the rolling Southern California premiere of THE REALISTIC JONESES, written by Will Eno and directed by Judy Hegarty-Lovett.
