The ghosts of Roosevelt Island will be coming to life to tell a tale in which worlds are interwoven in a gripping and meaningful story of equality, human connection and compassion, just in time for the season of giving! 

Family Oriented version of Charles dickens holiday classic, with the big bad wolf playing Ebeneezer Scrooge and a fairy godmother, old King Cole and the queen of hearts respectively playing the ghosts. Essential to the holiday season in Denver, A Christmas Carol is a joyous and opulent musical adaptation that traces money-hoarding curmudgeon Ebenezer Scrooge’s triumphant overnight journey to redemption.

While there have been hundreds of adaptations of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, few of them have had the energy and contemporary flair of Hana Sharif's revised production currently onstage at the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis.

Theatre Calgary is set to bring Calgary's festive tradition, A Christmas Carol, back to the stage starting on November 30. Now in its 35th year, their production of Charles Dickens' timeless tale of greed, ghosts, and redemption is a must in the annual holiday celebrations for thousands of families in their city. This show explores the original story of A Christmas Carol through the lens of a Scrooge-like Irish pub owner who learns that it’s not too late to turn his life around.

“Leave comedy to the bears, Ebenezer!” Back in 1992, the idea that the Muppets could do a passable version of Charles Dickens’ classic novella may have been a stretch of the imagination for some, but fast forward to 2021 and it’s a tradition for many; “I didn’t realise this many people liked the Muppets!”, squealed a young girl to her father as she made her way to her seat.

For the delight of audiences aged 5 to 105, Theater for the New City, 155 First Ave., will present Czechoslovak-American Marionette Theatre (CAMT) in 'A Christmas Carol, Oy! Hanukkah, Merry Kwanzaa' from December 22 to January 2. The show is an adaptation of Dickens' classic with Old World accents and New World inclusiveness.

Directed by Thomas Caruso from the original production helmed by Matthew Warchus, the L.A. production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL is delightful if not magical, certainly enough to scratch anybody’s holiday itch and maybe a little bit more.

In the spirit of the holiday season, Adelphi University will present a staged reading of the Charles Dickens classic 'A Christmas Carol' in the style of an old radio drama. The holiday tradition will take place on Saturday, December 18, at Adelphi's Performing Arts Center.
