Chance Theater has announced its next Chance Cyber Chat will be about Tony Award winner John Leguizamo's one-man play, Latin History for Morons. Just because the doors of the Bette Aitken theater arts Center are temporarily closed, it doesn't mean that the Chance and our audiences can't still get together, connect and chat about compelling theater that is available online! In fact... you could say that now is the best time to focus on community and exhilarating theater productions.

Chance Theater's regional premiere of the punk rock Lizzie, The Musical won the LA Stage Alliance Ovation Award for a?oeBest Production of a Musical (Intimate Theatre)a?? last night at the 30th Annual Ovation Awards. The ceremony was at the Theatre at Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.

While watching Chance Theater's brand new OC-premiere of EMMA: THE MUSICAL--Paul Gordon's charm-filled 2007 stage musical adaptation of Jane Austen's beloved 1815 novel--I noticed a welcome sensation that took over me throughout most of the production… I could not stop smiling. Delightfully appealing and positively buoyant in a great many aspects, this wonderfully witty and quite beguiling production--directed with engaging gusto by Casey Long--continues performances at their Cripe Stage in Anaheim through December 23, 2018.

EMMA, now playing at the Chance Theater in Anaheim through December 23rd, is like a perfect tea time confection.  It's lovely, sweet, and has just enough tartness to keeping it all from getting too sticky to enjoy.

Avila. Elevada will run from May 4 - June 3 at Chance Theater @ Bette Aitken theater arts Center on the Fyda-Mar.

The Orange County Asperger's Support Group (OCASG) and Chance Theater will be working together this summer to present the new Spectrum 'Speak Up' Series. The program is specifically designed for teens that have been diagnosed with high functioning Autism, Asperger's, or PDD-NOS.
